'March'ing on

It's hard to believe that we are over half way through the academic year already, it seems like only yesterday that we started back in September.

Over the last few months we have been transported to the Island of Lumbago through the sea of Sciatica with Year 4 and their 'Pirates of the Curry Bean' play, wandered through history with Year 5 with their Greek, Saxon and Viking home learning projects, Year 6 have visited Peru with Paddington Bear and his infamous Marmalade sandwiches and Year 3 have learnt all about Nature and animals.

Each Year Group have started on their new projects even though it is a short half term until Easter. Year 3 are off to the Glorious Grampians, Year 4 are visiting the Land of Fire and Ice.

Today saw the Year 5 go to the Anvil to perform in the 'Giant' sing with other local schools.  They sang a variety of songs during a performance of a short play.

Thee whole school is gearing up for the Rock Challenge performance that is in just over 2 weeks time at the Guildhall in Portsmouth. The rehearsals are going well with lots of fine tuning happening.
