Year 3 have had a busy, exciting and tough Spring Term, but they have come through it with their resilience, hard work, enthusiasm and motivation.

The children have taken part in lots of wonderful learning, including topics such as Fantastique France and Magnetic Man. We have all learnt how to use technology through our home learning, as well as talking to virtual visitors such as scientist Mr Youngs for Science Day and our recent assembly with Reverend Arthur for Easter.

They have enjoyed finding out about how magnets work, learning how to draw and paint in the style of artists (such as Van Gogh), tasting French food, as well as some great work on place value, measures and fractions. Their writing has shown how creative they are as well, from making comic strips to writing about superheroes in a non-chronological report.

In Year 3, the children and adults never miss an opportunity to dress up, from famous French people to Red Nose Day Superheroes!

We have all been incredibly proud of all their hard work so we just had to spend our last afternoon on a fun Easter egg hunt around the school.
