Headteacher's Welcome
Welcome to Merton Junior School!
I am incredibly proud to be the Headteacher of Merton Junior School, where I have the privilege of working alongside an exceptional team of staff who go above and beyond every single day. We are MERTON. Our pupils are incredibly polite, hardworking, and continually amaze us with their achievements.
Our Commitment: We care deeply about our pupils, and our curriculum is designed to shape them into well-rounded citizens of the future. We equip them with a range of skills and strategies to overcome any challenges they may face and to be successful in their accomplishments. Our dedicated staff work together to nurture our learners, ensuring they are motivated, enthusiastic, respectful, optimistic, and nurturing individuals.
Our Vision: I am passionate about providing our children with an enriched curriculum full of hands-on, fun, and practical experiences. This approach not only ensures that each pupil makes excellent progress and deepens their learning but also makes school an exciting place where each child is happy and creates lasting memories that will shape them as future individuals.
Our Values: Every child, staff member, and stakeholder at Merton Junior School embodies our core values at all times, proving that THEY ARE MERTON (Motivated, Enthusiastic, Respectful, Tenacious, Optimistic, and Nurturing).
Our Community: Our pupils care deeply about their learning, each other, their community, and the wider world. They reflect our school values in everything they do.
Partnership with Parents: We believe that working as a team with parents is crucial to the success of our pupils. By fostering strong, positive relationships with parents, we ensure that our children receive consistent support both at school and at home. This collaboration helps us create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive and achieve their full potential.
