Welcome to Merton...
Welcome to our school! I am really proud to be the Headteacher of Merton Junior School - I work alongside a super team of staff here at Merton who go over and beyond day in and day out. We are MERTON. Our pupils are incredibly polite, hardworking and amaze us with their achievements every single day.
We care greatly about our pupils and our curriculum is designed to shape them to be well-rounded citizens of the future - citizens who will be well equipped with a range of skills and strategies so that they can overcome any challenges that they face and be successful in their accomplishments. Our staff work together to shape our learners to be motivated, enthusiastic, respectful, optimistic and nurturing individuals.
I feel very strongly about making our sure children access an enriched curriculum which is full of hands-on, fun and practical experiences - not only so that each pupil makes excellent progress and that their learning is deepened but that school is exciting and that each child is happy and makes great memories which will stay with them forever and shape them as future individuals.
Each child, staff member and stakeholder models our school values at all times, proving that THEY ARE MERTON (Motivated, Enthusiastic, Respectful, Tenacious, Optimistic and Nurturing).
Our pupils care deeply about their learning, each other, their community and the wider world and reflect our school values in everything that they do.
If you have any questions or queries about anything then please feel free to contact the school directly, directing any questions to our fantastic office staff, with any queries you may have - 01256 326573 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
