Supporting your child's mental health & wellbeing

Mental Health and Wellbeing is incredibly important to us - of everybody - pupils, staff and parents.

What do we have in school to support the Mental Health and Wellbeing of our pupils?

- THRIVE Approach (across school)

- Consistent nurturing, caring approach from all staff

- Full time ELSA

- Play Therapist

- Trauma Awareness (project being completed)

- Mental Health Support Team (who work in school and we can refer directly to)

We regularly talk about Mental Health and Wellbeing in school through PDL sessions and through whole school assemblies.

Supporting your child's mental health and wellbeing can be incredibly challenging but please know that we are here to help.

Below are some useful sites which may have some snippets of information which can help you.

Alternatively, please reach out to school staff who will be more than happy to help. They will either signpost to you to someone else more appropriate, or may be able to refer you to an outside agency who will be able to advice and support - or they might just be able to offer you some time for you to offload in a non-judgemental space.

Please reach out.
