The final week of term saw Year 6 graduating in their Leavers' Assembly. All parents were invited to share in the ceremony which saw readings and poems written by some Year 6 children, as well as readings from each teacher, including Mrs Reading. 

It was a lovely ceremony and the children looked incredible in their graduation gowns. We hope that all parents enjoyed this special moment to celebrate our wonderful Year 6 children. 

Staff vs Year 6 rounders match

Today, the year 6 children took part in our annual rounders match against staff members. It was a fantastic morning with the rest of the school cheering on. Well done to all year 6 children for their brilliant efforts, however, the staff managed to get a few more rounders. There were 2 people recognised from each team for their fantastic efforts. Mrs Clay and Mrs Wheeler for some amazing catches and brilliant bats. Another huge well done to Jamie and Wisdom who were amazing, they managed to get a few teachers out as well as batting really well. Their determination was brilliant to see and I hope they carry this sporty attitude on through their secondary schools. Well done to everyone involved, Year 5 you better start practicing now!
