World cup Week 2

Carrying on throughout the week we saw many more games as Merton took on the World cup.

On Tuesday we had Willow(Iran) vs Maple (USA) which ended with a 1-1 draw.

On Wednesday we had Lime(Saudi Arabia) vs Poplar(Mexico) which ended with a 0-0 draw.

On Thursday we saw Willow (Canada) vs Lime (Morocco) which also ended 0-0.

Finally, Friday saw Elm (Portugal) vs Sycamore (South Korea)

A big thank you to Harley Mead who helped me referee some of the games!

This is the end of our Merton 'World Cup' but we will keep on the inter house competitions throughout the year!

Another brilliant match against St Bede's! The children have gained a lot more confidence since the first game. They work very hard as a team and are very dedicated to the game. Keep it up!
